In what looks like the Final s of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa , Spain welcomes the Dutch for the second leg Quarter finals of the on going Nations League in Europe .
After a 2-2 draw in the port city of Rotheedam , the Netherlands who were down by a goal came from behind to lead 2-1 then Mikel Merino from the branch leveled against for the La Roja boys from Spain who are defending champions in the Nations League .

Last Thursday in Rotheedam , Nico Williams opened scoring for Spain in the nineth .minute only for Gakpp to level then Tijani Rejinders made it 2-1 for the Netherlands .
Spain almost struggled in vain for the better partonf the second half until Mikel Merino came from the substitute branch to get the much needed equaliser for the defending champions .when the Dutch goal tender Bart Verbruggen failed to clear his lines and was punished for his unifeced error .

Spain with an intimidating record of six wins before the first leg in Rotherdam was reversed with the 2-2 draw , they have been without a defeat for the past two years in all competitions except the draw in the Netherlands and 2-0 win against Scotland in 2023
Spain are unbeaten against the Netherlands since the finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa as well as the champions of the Nations League after beating Croatia in the finals via penalties in 2022/2023 finals , while they meet the winners of France vs Croatia in the semi finals
Before youngster Jorral Hato was given the marching orders by the center referee for a harsh challenge on Robin le Normaad , the Dutch were comfortable with a 2-1 lead , but playing 10 men against a side like Spain is almost impossible for them to win , they were lucky they escaped defeat at Rotherdam , consoling themselves with a 2-2 draw .

Just one loss in seven matches in all competitions , Ronald Koeman lads are in high spirits with their latest football prowess even making the semi finals in the last Euro Champiinship before they lost to hosts England after coming second behind Germany with nine points from six matches , that’s a fairly good record for a National team .They also lost the finals of the 2018/2019 when France beat them .
Presently loaded with skillful players in their team , a win at away against Spain will be a signal to the European Nations that they are once again back to their best a sit was during the playing days of the Dutch terrible trip , of Frank Rijkaad , Marco Van Beaten and Ruud Gulllit .

Apart from Cubaris , the Spanish team La Roja have no known causaltiies in their squad though there may be some switch in some departments of the team where there may be a bit suspect especially the defencd , midfield where they have Dean Huijisen to replace Cubaris while Merino and Dan Olmo will be listed ., though they are likely to start from the bench just like at Rotherdam .
Others are fully legible tonight against the Dutch with captain Alvaro Morata to continue at the center .

For the Dutch , Ian Maartsen has been called back to the squad , then Hato suspended while Jurien Timber is out due to sickness .
A likely reshuffle at the rear due to Hato s suspension, with Jeremine Frimpong as replacement and Lutsharell to the left .
Memphis Delay ,Xavi Simons Justin Kluivert , Gakpp will present in Ronald Koeman s first eleven tonight , either from the bench or first start .
A likely repeat of the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa, but in a different format .

Predictions –

Bithe teams have the capacity to win tonight’s encounter but we expect Spain to get the job done without stretching into extra time and sudden death penalties .
They have the flair and ability to hurt each other as well as meet their set goal target of winning at regulation time .

Spain 2-1 Nerherlands Or 1-1.
